Los Trigales is a community in the industrial part of Cuenca. On March 1, 2013 we moved an entire clinic to their community center. Â We set up shop and on March 2 & 3 we were open for business. Â We spayed/neutered a total of 60 dogs and cats. Â What a great day this was!!!!
So, so many volunteers made this a success! We had two vets performing the surgeries each day.  There were an additional  15 volunteers to take care of all the before and after care.
While the animals were still under anesthesia they were all tattooed. Â Then, while in recovery, they all received rabies vaccines, antibiotic and pain injections.

Congratulations! What an achievement. Some people walk the walk. You certainly DO. Thanks for taking action to help the dogs of Ecuador. These dogs can’t help themselves so you’ve stepped in to help. There’s a special place in heaven reserved for those who help the helpless. Keep up the good work.

Dear friends who love animals like me, I’m glad that your work is progressing more and more. I commented that I am currently with 4 puppies rescued, I do not belong to any foundation but I do love myself for animals, 3 of them are in veterinary where stick to my pets, two of them I’m going to sterilize and the other is recovering from surgery to the legs, should give physiotherapy and then operate the other leg. Unfortunately the times I have requested assistance in Ark Foundation have received no good answer from them, I understand they have too many animals, but could be other support but nothing, in order that I shall not continue helping animals
Do not know if you could guide me where could I turn to receive some help because sometimes the do all this work alone is what keeps me from helping more animals.
If you ever need help just one animal rescue power’ll gladly help, because I have helped those who have seen them at risk on the street or in very poor condition and I have taken me.
For anything my phone is 0999 301305, Inge if I knew in GaleríaVega.

Hi, I am sorry that you feel alone out there. I know you do your best to help the animals. Happy Dogs is strictly doing spay and neuter and we are happy to assist you with the spay/neuter for the 2 dogs. E-mail happydogsincuenca@gmail.com and we can schedule an appointment for the 2 dogs. The only low cost clinics that I know of in Cuenca are ARCA or MCA.
They all do their best to help but sadly not everyone can be helped all of the time. This is why our group is working so hard to get dogs/cats spayed/neutered and the people educated. Thanks for all you do!
